Our pellet is made of 100% natural wood fibers from a valuable by-product of lumber sawing and planing (sawdust and shavings). It is a highly efficient and economical product, achieving superior levels of combustion and heat generation.
The use of pellets from sustainable sources can help reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared with the use of fossil fuels. As they burn, pellets release CO?, just as wood does when it decomposes naturally.
Granulco holds a SBP certification, which assures that the wood biomass comes from sustainable sources and complies with European regulatory requirements in addition to contributing to sustainable forest management. Here you can find Granulco’s SBP Summary Report as well Supply base report. The documents availables for consultation are here.
Furthermore, in 2025, Granulco wishes to expand its supply chain by integrating roundwood chips (white birch, a qualified source of primary supply according to SBP) and is committed to doing so with a sustainable and transparent management. This link provides access to the Public Consultation Document, while the following link presents the Risks associated with these new supplies. Consultation and risk management procedures are available upon request.
